Cosmos Dispatch is a licensed property broker. We arrange truck transportation for freight forwarders, NVOCCs and shippers through independent, licensed motor carriers. We do not own trucks, we do not take possession of freight, and we are not a motor carrier.
Every shipment we arrange is governed by a separate written agreement, such as a broker-shipper agreement or a load confirmation. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls for that shipment.
Quotes from our website, by email or by phone are estimates based on the information you give us. The final rate is the one confirmed in writing before pickup. Rates may change if shipment details change, and extra charges such as detention, layover, additional stops or fuel adjustments may apply when they occur.
Shipment updates and tracking come from carriers and third-party systems. We share them to keep you informed, but they may be delayed or incomplete, and they should not be relied on as an exact record of a shipment's location or timing.
The motor carrier that hauls a shipment is generally responsible for loss of or damage to the freight while in its care, under applicable federal law. If a problem happens, we will help you file and pursue a claim with the carrier. Our own responsibility for a shipment is set out in the written agreement for that shipment.
Freight fraud often involves people pretending to be a real broker. We only send email from addresses ending in @cosmosdispatch.com, and our authority can be checked on the FMCSA website using USDOT 4396462. If you receive a load offer, rate confirmation or payment request that looks unusual, contact us at info@cosmosdispatch.com before acting on it.
You agree not to misuse this website. This includes trying to disrupt it, gain unauthorized access, copy its content in bulk, or use our name, logo, USDOT or MC number to pose as Cosmos Dispatch.
The content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and design, belongs to Cosmos Logistics LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our name or logo without our written permission.
